Join us for a guided creative walk through the Shropshire Hills, where we’ll explore the ever-changing contours of the landscape and the rhythmic interplay of water, wind, and sky. This free walk, in collaboration with Peg Boarders, is designed for artists, makers, and nature lovers alike—offering a chance to slow down, observe, and gather inspiration from the natural world.

What to Expect

  • A gentle, immersive walk through the rolling hills and hidden valleys of Shropshire
  • Observing layered landscapes, shifting light, and the flow of water through the land
  • Exploring how the rhythms of nature—from drifting clouds to meandering streams—can inform creative work
  • Opportunities for sketching, photography, and creative note-taking (optional)
  • Conversations on patterns in nature, movement in the landscape, and artistic interpretation

This walk is a perfect complement to our Torn Paper Landscapes workshops, "Shifting Horizons" and "Cloud & Current", offering a deeper connection to the landscapes that inspire them.

At Mustard and Gray & Peg Boarders, we believe that creativity starts with observation.
